Today, December 8, 2020, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan’s awarding ceremony for Lifelong Learning Support Activities for Persons with Disabilities<\/strong> was held.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Award given by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, is awarded to individuals or organizations that support various learning activities for people with disabilities throughout their lives and whose activities are recognized as exemplary. Seventy-three individuals and organizations were awarded this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000As one of them, the Special Needs Education Department of Ehime University’s Faculty of Education received the Minister’s Award<\/strong> from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology for its efforts in the “TREASuRE Project<\/strong>.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000The name of this project is an acronym for Treatment, Rearing, Education, Accommodation, Support, Research, and Ehime<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u3000This year, the awarding ceremony was held online to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Dr. Tomonori Karita attended the ceremony online on behalf of the Special Education Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for being able to participate in such an honorable award ceremony and will continue to make efforts to support various lifelong learning for people with disabilities with the help of many people.<\/span><\/p>\n
